Who we are
We are a non-profit making voluntary organisation existing to organise and assist in the display of flowers, plants and produce on the day of the Bentley Fete.
Information we collect
We collect the names and contact details of those people who have won a class cup at the Show, in order to ensure return of the cup the following year. We also collect the names of people entering an item in the Show to ensure facilitation of the entries on the day.
How we use and protect your personal data
Personal data for entries is used to facilitate organisation of the entries on the day of the Show. This data will never be shared with other parties and will be permanently deleted within 72 hours of midnight on the day of the Show. Personal data in respect of cup winners is used for the sole purpose of tracking the location of winner’s cups. This data is not obtained or retained electronically and will never be shared with other parties. We take all reasonable precautions against any illegal attempt to obtain your information by deleting any information provided electronically within 72 hours or securing non electronic data in respect of cup winners in a book which is secured in a locked safe.
How long the information is retained
Information obtained electronically in respect of entries will be permanently deleted within 72 hours of the day of the Show. The information obtained in respect of cup winners is retained for no longer than 13 months after the date of the Show.
