Bentley Village Fete & Flower Show

This year it will be the 129th event and promises to be filled with even more entertainment and activities to offer. The traditional classic car cavalcade through the village to the recreation ground will kick off an afternoon of live music, entertainment, games, eating and drinking.   This years cavalcade of cars will be led by a display of military vehicles to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE day. Villagers are encouraged to line the main road to cheer on “our boys” as they make their way from the Memorial Hall to the Recreation Ground 

Bringing their uplifting and energetic blend of music to the afternoon will be locally acclaimed band Brobed Stils, headed by Brodie Mauluka.  With the Flower Show’s colourful range of locally grown flowers and produce, the chance to compete in the Dog Show and an exciting range of market stalls, there will be plenty to pack into the afternoon. 

And fete goers won’t go hungry – thanks to a barbeque,  Pizzas and freshly brewed coffee, Pimms and cocktail bars, beer tent, teas and cakes pavilion, ice creams and cookies.
